A STELLAR PERFORMANCE BY CIS AT LISMUN 2024
2025-01-24

The 12th Session of the Lyceum International School Model United Nations (LISMUN 2024) Conference was held at the Lyceum International School, Nugegoda on the 14th, 15th and 16th of December 2024.

With over 400 registrations from several schools around the country, LISMUN 2024 held its own as the “training conference” that informs, guides and polishes students in the art of MUN. The main conference was followed by the workshop and practice debates, allowing our delegates to familiarise themselves with the technicalities of MUN and understand their countries, committees and chairs in order to fully utilize their MUN skills.

In the spirit of the conference, the team of delegates that CIS fielded for this year’s conference ranged from Year 8 students to Year 12, from experienced executive committee members and returning seasoned MUNers, to a fresh collection of novice delegates.

The CIS delegation consisted of :

YEAR 8

  • Nirav Tejwani
  • John Dimittri Soosaipillai

YEAR 10

YEAR 12
