The 23rd International Schools Athletics championship took place at the Sugathadasa stadium on the 22nd and 23rd of February 2025.

This year, 60 athletes represented CIS in over 15 events against tough opponents. Despite the intense competition, CIS managed to win 8 medals in total: 3 gold, 3 sliver and 2 bronze, and was placed 8th out of 21 schools on the medal tally, and 11th in overall points.

Congratulations to all our medalists: Pareesha Thotabadda, Elmira Perera, Sandil Hettiarachchige, Leo Moore, Amrit Samarasinghe, Mehan Edirisinghe and Tenuri De Silva.

A big congratulation goes out to our gold medalist Pareesha Thotabadda, who set a new meet record for U14 girls shot put.
