Lyceum International School Model United Nations returned after 4 years of silence. Various schools from all over the island sent delegations to effectively practise debate and diplomacy in a conference well reputed for being a leader in introducing novices to the world of MUN.

The conference was held on the 15th, 16th and 17th of December 2023 at Lyceum Nugegoda. CIS fielded a relatively young delegation consisting of Jenelle Fernando, Tashya Fernando, Minesh Nissanka, Prajiv Hidayashankar, John Dimitri Soosaipillai and Suharya Vithanage courageously took initiative to configure solutions for the world's most pressing problems during the most festive time of the year. Jenelle Fernando won the award for the Best Foreign Policy Statement from her committee.

Despite their relative lack of experience our novices were a force to reckon with. We wish them all the very best in their future challenges at MUN.
