SLIIT CodeFest 2020 and Young Computer Scientist Sri Lanka 2021:

Congratulations to Ranuth Seneviratne (10I) who recently achieved a Merit Award at the Junior Coding Contest, organised by the Faculty of Computing at the Sri Lanka Institute of Information Technology.

We would like to also wish the best of luck to the Colombo International School ICT Society, whose members have submitted ten projects to the Young Computer Scientist Sri Lanka 2021, a national level competition organised by the Ministry of Education, the Federation of Information Technology Industry (FITIS) and the University of Colombo. This society has continued to work with great enthusiasm during the pandemic and the students have also organised workshops to mentor others and help younger pupils improve their programming skills in Java, Python and other web-based languages.
